PROGRAMMING
After nearly a decade, CBS is taking back the keys to the castle, announcing that this ninth season of long-running sitcom The King of Queens will be its last. The blue-collar family comedy is currently the longest-running comedy on television, taking over the title when Will & Grace and That '70s Show left the airwaves last year. The series flirted with cancellation earlier this year, but finally received a 13-episode renewal for the 2006-2007 season.

One major area of growth is expected to be Internet Protocol Television (IPTV), a form of television typically delivered over broadband.
