After
nearly a decade, CBS is taking back the keys to the castle, announcing that
this ninth season of long-running sitcom The King of Queens will be its last.
The blue-collar family comedy is currently the longest-running comedy on television,
taking over the title when Will & Grace and That '70s Show left the airwaves
last year. The series flirted with cancellation earlier this year, but finally
received a 13-episode renewal for the 2006-2007 season.

BUSINESS
LM Ericsson's plan to buy Redback Networks Inc. for $2.1 billion is a sign
of how the growth of Internet video is expected to drive demand for broadband
network upgrades. Analysts believe that the acquisition is key for Ericsson
as the company prepares to battle Cisco Systems, Inc., Alcatel-Lucent and
Juniper Networks, Inc. One major area of growth is expected to be Internet
Protocol Television (IPTV), a form of television typically delivered over
broadband.
