RATINGS
Fox sitcom "Method & Red" is shooting its 13th episode and will be going on
its scheduled hiatus. Some experts feel that the sitcom, which hasn't exactly

ADVERTISING
With the NBC network airing 399 hours of the Olympics in HDTV, makers of
digital television sets are hoping that buyers will flock in droves to purchase

TECHNOLOGY
A researcher at Carnegie Mellon University has created the PCtvt, a $250
wirelessly networked personal computer aimed at the 4 billion people in the world
who live on less than $2,000 a year. The PCtvt can be controlled by a remote

FILM
"Alien vs. Predator" took in $38.2 million this past weekend, making it the
best of the bunch. "Princess Diaries 2: The Royal Engagement" was the only

Director John Woo is returning to his roots, directing his first
Chinese-language film in more than a decade. "The War of the Red Cliff" is expected to be

Tom Cruise has decided to push off the highly anticipated sequel "Mission
Impossible 3" in favor of doing a new version of H.G. Wells' "War of the Worlds"

Lesbians have accused Spike Lee of "exploiting" their lifestyles in his new
film, "She Hate Me." In it, Lee has a straight man impregnate a number of

Though it was supposed to close the Edinburgh international film festival,
Wong Kar-Wai's "2046" is just not finished and will not be premiering there this
